I have lived in northern New England my whole life. I spent much of my childhood wading in tumbling streams, canoeing on sapphire lakes, climbing granite peaks, and exploring the hidden secrets of the forests.
This love of exploration and discovery has carried me into adulthood. I have been a ski patroller since 2009 and occasionally guide backcountry ski trips. I am drawn to water, and worked several seasons on tall ships and as a kayak instructor. Hiking and birdwatching remains integral to my life (and sanity)!
My preferred mediums are watercolor, photography, and digital art. For watercolor I primarily use DaVinci, M. Graham, and American Journey paints. I enjoy plein air painting, though I am just as content to create in my studio nestled between Camel’s Hump and Mount Mansfield. Photos are shot using either iPhone XS or Nikon D3200. All photographs are my own unless otherwise noted. I have been experimenting a lot with digital art using Procreate for the last several years. Everyone and everything in this life is a work in progress, and I am no exception. While I welcome constructive suggestions and feedback, please remember to be kind.
